With a distinguished 40-year career spanning media, marketing, and communications, Glenda Brewer-Wynyard has established herself as one of New Zealand’s most accomplished business and brand leaders.
Glenda began her career in media planning and buying with local agency Dimension Advertising before moving to the international network Ogilvy, where she developed deep expertise in strategic communications and client management. As Managing Director of McCann Worldgroup New Zealand, Glenda led both McCann and Universal McCann, driving creative and media excellence across blue-chip clients and delivering award-winning campaigns recognised regionally and globally. She oversaw multi-million-dollar portfolios, directed cross-functional teams, and led the agency’s growth strategy through new client acquisition and exceptional client retention.
Beyond McCann, Glenda has held senior business development roles with Network 3 and Pacific Magazines, where she identified market opportunities, built enduring client relationships, and delivered measurable revenue growth. Most recently, as Managing Director of TMC and Media Precinct, she managed portfolios valued up to NZ$64 million, leading advertising strategy, customer insights, and mROI performance across complex, high-value client groups.
Her work has earned numerous accolades, including the Harrison K. McCann Award for Excellence in New Business & Media, Universal McCann Asia Pacific Gold, Cannes Media Lions and multiple CAANZ Gold and Silver Awards.
Now, having returned home to the Bay of Islands and transitioning into the real estate sector, Glenda brings a results-driven approach to client service, negotiation, and strategic growth.
